For our teaching emphasis this time, it seems appropriate to address the many phone and letter inquiries we receive. The question stems from some local media "teaching"(?) Many have become confused and frustrated. The culprit concept is the current "Judaizing" being thoughtlessly and falsely argued toward the spiritual detriment of sincere but naïve Christians.

This very serious heresy will need to be addressed in TWO parts. Please pass this information on to pastors, teachers, friends, etc. You are given permission to photocopy, scan into the internet, or whatever you can – to help to encourage "enduring of sound doctrine" II Tim 4:2 as we "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints." Jude 3. Don’t be timid – too many need our loving concern.

Compassion, Not Contention - Part II

We have received several letters agreeing with the need to have sound doctrinal teaching/preaching on the airwaves. Many pastors have expressed their concern to us. They are responsible for their congregations and especially, there is a serious concern for new believers and for those no yet well grounded in doctrine.

An Example

Acts17:10 Paul and Silas were sent to Berea. They went into a synagogue. Vs. 11 says, "these were more noble (diligent, responsible) than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. II Tim. 2:15 exhorts same. In order to know whether they were being taught a counterfeit or genuine concept, they need to recognize the True first.

A Lesson from the Business World

When merchants, clerks, sales personnel, etc. are taught how to recognize counterfeit bills/money, they are taught only to identify the genuine. They are not even shown the forgery bills. THEN THEY CAN'T BE FOOLED! The same applies to Biblical truth.

Compassion not Contention

Many write today they have a concern, that is, contentious words may be the issue at hand. Actually friends, it is out of compassion that we express these things. Some say "Ah, eat the meat and spit out the bones." Many people swallow bones unintentionally and it can result in internal damage and even death.

Pseudo (false) teachers/teaching causes much pride and arrogance. Proverbs 16:18 and I Timothy 3:6. Not a novice lest being lifted up with pride, lest he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

We know that if a person studies the discipline of science, then one may qualify as a professional doctor, engineer, artisan, etc. If we ask our "medical doctor" where he/she studied medicine before they operate and they inform us that they didn’t…."Just read some articles here and there and put some ideas together." Well, the "doctor" has no evidence – no formal education/graduation or expertise in this area – but assumes they are competent – we would be wise to find a BONA-FIDE practitioner to minister to our physical needs.

Ministry of Teaching and Preaching

Should the highest calling of all be so cheaply offered? We hope you can be like those Bereans. Don’t be "snowed under" or have the wool pulled over YOUR eyes.

Your money on any broadcast should be used for giving Truth, not gobble-dee-goop! If you and many others request any particular program, it should be remembered YOUR FINANCES are given for BIBLICAL, GOSPEL, TRUTH. Christian television/radio stations are mainly listener sponsored. That means the money you send in keeps the radio/television programs YOU want on the air.
We pray the viewers will have the courage to take a stand against this deceptive personality cult and deliberate exaltation to pride. Unfortunately, this type of error inevitably results in continual and growing false doctrines with personal interpretation. II Peter 1:20 "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation!" This is why we study to show selves approved rightly dividing the word. I Timothy 2:15.

CONCLUSION

Much pseudo/false teaching is being promoted. This has to do with getting Christians to "keep Torah Law." Pseudo teachers are confusing the "Last Days" as being in the times of the Gentiles. Telling Christians to keep so-called "Torah." This is for the "times coming" i.e. Israel’s time will begin in the Great Tribulation – yes, even animal sacrifices – but the Anti Messiah/Anti Christ will turn on Israel and take away the daily oblation in the middle of the Tribulation week (of years) i.e. 3 _ + 3 _ = 7. Daniel 9:27.

The television screen has become a messy, argumentative, tasteless schlemozzle (Jewish for confusion). The Great Tribulation and the later Millennium/Messianic era are all being lumped into the NOW! Oy vey! We need to get on with edifying the Body with truth.

Remember! Your dollars are being given for God’s Kingdom. Not for false and arrogant, deliberate confusion. Messiah came to set us free, NOT to put us into bondage. The whole chapter of Galatians 5 actually disclaims the dissemination of legalistic bondage currently being erroneously and aggressively expressed over the air.

In closing, please read the scriptures mentioned in this letter and be fully persuaded by God’s Word, not any individual. As an example Romans 14:5 concerning Sabbath. This chapter (all of it) deals with ALL the ritual ordinance and the confusion being so inconsiderately propagated.

In Messiah Yeshua (Jesus),
